About the bike:
Popular Suzuki factory rider Vincent Haskovic achieved one of his life long
ambitions by standing on the top of the podium as winner of the 2005 Daytona AMA
Superstock race. Just two races later fate struck the cruelest of blows in a
freak accident that finished his racing career. A group of industry sponsors has
built a very special bike that will be auctioned and all the proceeds go to help
Vincent ease the burden.
The concept for the bike was born between ace fabricator Paul Taylor of Taylor
Made Racing and Vincent himself. Paul had in mind the building of the ultimate
track day bike, a super handling machine with adequate power that would
challenge the rider and his skills but not intimidate him. Vincents response to
the idea was yes, thats exactly what I want for myself and I have the perfect
bike lets build it together! So it came to pass that Vinces 2004 GSXR 750
was wheeled into the Taylor Made workshop.
Circumstances changed and Paul wanted to help Vince in the best way he could so
it was decided to complete the bike and use it to raise funds. As the bike was
to be the ultimate track day bike he invited the best of the best to
contribute their top of the line components. The goal: to create the best
handling, light weight race bike, wrapped in a cool, eye catching package that
can carve the canyons, strafe the race track and be ridden down to Bobs Big Boy
on a Saturday night.
The result is a 145 bhp carbon fiber dream that tips the scales at just 339 lb
wet (thats more than 25 lb less than an AMA superbike and only 13 lb more than
a Moto GP bike) complete with starter, lights and a license plate. Discover full
